Parking Conil de la Frontera is one of the few white villages in Andalusia that are not in the hinterland, but directly on the sea. From the center it is only a few meters to the miles of sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz. Above all, the mixture of historical past and summery “beach flair” gives the place that certain something. Like so many other white villages, Conil does not live from big sights, but much more from its great location and the flair within the village. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t miss out on a few smaller highlights. Just outside, in the north of Conil, there is another vantage point called “Faro de Roche”. By car it is about seven kilometers from the village and you can expect a lighthouse and high cliffs as well as a great view of the sea and Conil in the distance – beautiful and absolutely recommendable! Viewpoints or not – the most beautiful is the entire, historic center of Conil. The streets are wonderfully narrow, the small bars and shops are sweet as candy, the houses are snow-white and the general atmosphere is just to melt away. Especially in the evening, when the restaurants are full and people sit in the middle of the streets to eat, the village unfolds a very special, unique flair. Normally the markets in Andalusia are known for rough quantities of meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. In Conil, however, there is also a small but fine arts and crafts market with the “Mercado del Arte”. Mostly original pictures, handmade jewelry and clothes, dream catchers, bags, creative souvenirs and decorative products are on offer in a cute little market hall. Parking
