The white sandy beaches of Conil are a stunner. Those who like walks on the beach are faced with the decision to go left or right. Whatever we decide, a mile-long hike could lie ahead of us. And the further we get away from the main beach, the quieter it gets. If you just want to swim and lie in the sun, you don’t have to go far. There is always a beach bar (chiringuito) nearby for refreshments or a small meal when you get hungry. Those who come in summer will appreciate the Atlantic winds that make the heat bearable. On the other hand, there will be little desire to make excursions into the surrounding area, for which Conil de la Frontera is an excellent starting point. Lively in summer. Conil is a quiet place in winter where the locals set the pace.
